Fly-By Crew
We're looking for a Matterport 3D Scan Technician to help us capture interactive property tours across the Rio Grande Valley. This is 1099 gig work — accept jobs when they fit your schedule, no minimum hours required. Camera equipment is provided; you bring the phone, the vehicle, and the availability.
What You'll Do
- Travel to assigned properties (homes, commercial buildings, construction sites) with a Fly-By–provided Matterport Pro3 camera and tripod
- Walk the property following a consistent scan pattern to capture a complete 3D tour
- Upload finished scans through the Matterport Capture app after each job
- Communicate clearly with our team on scheduling, property access, and any on-site issues
Requirements
- iPhone (recent model) with an active data plan — the Matterport Capture app is iOS-only
- Reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license
- Willing to travel to job sites across the RGV — McAllen, Edinburg, Mission, Pharr, and surrounding areas
- Flexible, on-call availability — jobs are assigned with short notice and accepted or declined based on your schedule
- Comfortable working independently and professionally on client and job sites, including active construction sites
- Able to walk a property and remain on your feet for 30–90+ minutes depending on size
- 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Matterport, other 360° cameras, or real estate photography
- Background in photography, videography, or drone piloting
- An eye for detail and comfort representing a client-facing brand on-site
- Get notified by text/email when a scan job is available near you
- Accept or decline based on your schedule — no minimum commitment
- Complete the scan and upload through the Matterport app
